Journal of Farming (JF) publishes original research advancing agricultural science through crop production systems, soil management, plant genetics, agricultural technology, and sustainable farming practices. We focus on evidence-based innovations that enhance productivity, environmental stewardship, and food security.

Reporting Guidelines

All manuscripts must follow discipline-appropriate standards:

  • Field trials: CONSORT-Agriculture

  • Animal research: ARRIVE 2.0

Data Transparency

We require data availability statements. Raw data must be deposited in recognized repositories (Dryad, Figshare, Zenodo) or provided as supplementary files.

Ethics & Compliance

Field trials must include site permissions. Animal studies require institutional ethics approval. Human subject research needs IRB clearance.

Statistical Rigor

Appropriate experimental design, power analysis, and statistical methods required. Consult a statistician for complex analyses.

We accept preprints from AgriXiv, bioRxiv, and other recognized servers. Preprint posting does not affect consideration.
