Author submission entry point
Submit a Manuscript
Use ManuscriptZone, the structured editorial system, after checking scope, preparation requirements and declarations.
Submission and editorial assessment do not require payment. The release policy requires invoicing only after valid acceptance; historical exceptions must be corrected before canonical release.
Submission packet
Prepare the scientific record before opening the submission system.
One authorised route
The primary editorial destination is oap.manuscriptzone.net. Authors sign in or register, select the Journal of Agronomy Research and complete the structured workflow. The public Quick Form is excluded because it emails files and does not create a ManuscriptZone record.
Before starting
A complete submission allows the editorial team to assess fit and integrity without asking for avoidable administrative corrections.
Fit and originality
ConfirmThe question fits JAR and the work is not under consideration by another journal.

ManuscriptZone workflow
The live system presents nine named stages. Suggested reviewers and funders may be left empty; the required journal, cover letter, article type, title, abstract, keywords and files must be complete before final submission.
Check List
Confirm readiness and select the Journal of Agronomy Research.
Cover Letter
Enter the cover-letter text and upload the required cover-letter file.
Title
Enter the article type, title, abstract and keywords.
Upload Files
Add at least one manuscript file and the relevant figures, tables or supplementary files.
Authors
Confirm the corresponding author and add co-authors with accurate names, emails and institutions. ORCID is supported but is not currently mandatory.
Suggest Reviewers
Provide suggestions only where appropriate; editors independently select reviewers and check conflicts.
Funding Details
Add funders and grant identifiers where applicable.
Finalize
Review the journal, metadata, files, authors and declarations before submission.
Finish
Submit the record and retain the confirmation and manuscript identifier.
What happens after submission
No fixed completion time is promised. Each stage depends on completeness, subject fit, reviewer availability, revisions and editorial assessment.
Administrative check
Files, author data and declarations are checked for completeness.
Editorial assessment
An editor evaluates scope, agronomic relevance, reporting and evident integrity concerns.
Peer review
A manuscript that proceeds is assessed under the journal’s peer-review policy.
Decision and revision
The editor communicates a reasoned decision and any required revision.
Acceptance and production
After valid acceptance, approved billing, production, proof and publication steps begin.
Confidentiality and security
Submitted files are handled within the authorised editorial process. Authors should not send full manuscripts through informal channels unless specifically instructed for a documented technical recovery.
Do not include unnecessary sensitive personal, farm or location data. Where access must be restricted, explain the reason in the data statement.
Get the right support
- Technical form problem
- Provide the page, error and manuscript identifier without emailing confidential files unless requested securely.
- Scope question
- Describe the agronomic question, setting and intended contribution.
- Billing question
- Use the APC contact route; billing does not influence review.
